World's Easiest DIY Project - Children's Organizer

Ella and Madeline go through over 20 can's of formula each month. Until now I've just been tossing the empty containers in the recycling bin. I've been on a hunt to find the perfect organizer for all of the girls' sunglasses, pacis, hair bands etc, but kept coming up short. Then I came across a pin on Pinterest that used old paint cans for craft supply storage, that's when it clicked, formula cans + scrapbook paper = pretty organizers! If you're looking for some additional information this may be helpful.

What you'll need
* formula can (rinsed well)
* scrapbook paper
* double sided tape
* scissors

Instructions:
1.  Remove the label from your formula can. Your can will look like this
2. Measure the height of your can and cut your scrapbook paper to the correct height.
3. Apply double sided tape to the underside of each end of your scrapbook paper.
4. Wrap the scrapbook paper around the can and press the ends down
5. CELEBRATE! You're done! Your cans will look like this:
Easiest project ever. I did all 6 cans in under 15 minutes.

Wordless Wednesday - Messy Day

Lovable Labels Review and Giveaway

If your kids are anything like mine, you’re probably loosing things every time you leave the house. Have you ever had to call the doctor’s office and ask them if they’ve found your child’s favorite pink blanket, and they tell you that they had 5 pink blankets left today? You drive all the way back to the office to dig through the pile that does not contain the favorite blankey, only to get back to the car and discover it shoved under the front seat?  Lovable Labels could have saved you that trip!

Lovable Labels are laundry and dishwasher safe labels for all of your children’s items. They come in cute colors and patterns and can be personalized with your child’s info. Attach them to the care tag in clothing or the outside of your bottles, sippy cups, lunch boxes, etc and never lose another item again.We received a Back to School package in the Diva print to review.

Current and Upcoming Giveaway

Hey guys just wanted to remind you that we have some great giveaways on the blog right now! You can find them all here:

Zoobie Blanket Pets ends 9/25
Stinkin Cutezy Hair Accessories ends 10/3
Shoulder Buddies ends 10/2

Good Luck everyone!

I am also aware of a glitch in the rafflecopters. If you are on the home page the rafflecopter displays the wrong info for the giveaway, however if you click the title bar ad go to each individual entry the rafflecopter will be correct. In the future I will not use the copy an existing giveaway option since that seems to be the problem.

I'm getting a little behind on posting reviews and giveaways because the twins are going through a growth spurt and are eating every 2 hours again like newborns, plus I think we may be hitting teething time really early. They have swollen gums and spend most of their days screaming at me. I'm going to try to get caught up over the next few days and will be posting giveaways for BabyBond Nursing covers, Scentsy, and Loveable Lables.

Giveaway a Day- Shoulder Buddies

Shoulder Buddies are collectible friends that kids love to wear! But they're more than just cute... each Shoulder Buddies "Smarts" character teaches kids a special life lesson, from Friendship to Fire Safety. The Magical Coin lets kids wear Shoulder Buddies on their shirt, hat, hair and more! Kids can take Shoulder Buddies and their "Smarts" with them wherever they go! The Shoulder Buddy Smarts come from a magical wishing star, and inside that star is the Land of Understand. Shoulder Buddies go to the "School of Smarts" so they can earn their Fluffles on top of their head to fly. Once they have learned their "Smarts" they fly down from the Land of Understand and look for a Buddy to journey with and share their "Smarts".

Shoulder Buddies are a fun new twist on the Trolls we had as children. These little buddies come with a special coin that allows you to attach them to pretty much any soft object, shirt, hat, backpack, even your hair! We received 2 Shoulder Buddies to review and when Bubbles and Peace arrived Willow and The K-Man were super excited to try them out.

The kids quickly became attached to their "silly buddies" and had a great time seeing where they could make their buddies sit. The K-Man claimed Bubbles and they are inseparable, Bubbles has even made his way into the bath tub a few times. Willow had a great time having everyone try out Peace, including having Madeline wear him on her headband. Our Buddies are also very good nappers, and stuck right by Willow's side at nap time.

 Shoulder Buddies are recommended for age 4 and up and would make GREAT stocking stuffers or a small Hanukkah gift this holiday season. I know I'll be picking up a few for Willow's Christmas stocking since she loves Peace so much.

Moving Day & Giveaway Announcements (EXTRA ENTRIES!)

Things are going to be very scarce around here for the rest of the week because we're moving on Friday! The girls and I have been staying with my parents (which is a very long story that I'll explain one day) and on Friday we're making the big leap to move in with my boyfriend. Willow is very excited to be living with her "Daddy Zach" and to share a room with her sissys. The rest of this week will be spent packing and then setting up their room and getting everything settled so my blogging time will be pretty nonexistent.

To make up for it next week I'll be holding a giveaway a day! Each day Monday through Friday a new giveaway will start featuring items from Zoobie Blanket Pets, Shoulder Buddies, BabyBond Nursing Covers, Stinkin Cutezy on Etsy and Scentsy! You can get a head start on some holiday gifts o keep them as a treat for yourself (don't worry I won't tell).

Now here's the fun part. Want to earn extra entries for these giveaways? If you follow me on ANY social media site before 11:59 EST Sunday night I will give you 5 extra entries for each network you join! GFC, twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, they all count! What an easy way to get 20 extra entries for each giveaway. You'll fill out the rafflecopter to enter , and I will verify all entries. Note to self: You are not a hairdresser

If there's one thing I learned this weekend, it's that I am not a hairdresser. These are the moments when cosmetology school would come in handy.  Willow has always been "hair impaired". The twins actually have more hair now then she did on her first birthday. Because she's always been a baldy she's never been to have a haircut. I just trim an inch or so every few months when the ends start to look stringy. Saturday night we sat down to trim it and I told her repeatedly "Mommy is going to cut your hair please don't move". The first few snips went just fun and then she got distracted by a commercial and jerked her head to the side, loosing a 3in chunk of hair in the middle of her head. I had no choice but to start chopping which resulted in her having ear length hair. My boyfriend jokingly says she looks like Chucky, but I'm not so sure it's a joke.
All Saturday night she kept telling me "Willow hair all gone, bye bye hair, no move." Maybe next time she'll listen?

I'm a Mommy on a mission

Willow saw a commercial for one of those Lite Sprites, and now she has to have one. I thought about reviewing one, but you have to be pretty up there in the Mommy/Daddy Blogging world to get one, so our next step is entering giveaways. Not kidding, I have entered 15 different Lite Sprite giveaways so far this morning. (Thanks Swagbucks search engine!) I am on a mission to get her one, one way or another. So my question for you is what is the  one thing you've been determined to win, and did you ever get one?

Peter Rabit Organics Review and Giveaway

As a mom I feel that one of my most important jobs is to make sure my children are eating healthy food and learning good eating habits. Sure baking is a routine thing around here and I admit my oldest has had a few Happy Meals in her lifetime, but overall I try to make sure that she's eating well. I have no real problem getting her to eat her fruit, but veggies are a different adventure. Unless it's broccoli or carrots it's just not happening. That's where Peter Rabbit Organics comes to the rescue!

Peter Rabbit Organics snacks provide 100% of the recommended servings of fruit and/or vegetables for kids and contain no artificial ingredients and no added sugar. The mess-free, BPA-free pouches also make convenient on-the-go snacks and the no-choke caps make them a perfect (and safe) snack for infants and toddlers.

The pouches are available in six flavors:
•             Strawberry and Banana
•             Apple and Grape
•             Mango, Banana and Orange
•             Sweet Potato, Corn and Apple
•             Carrot, Squash and Apple
•             Pea, Spinach and Apple

When our box arrived I was a little hesitant, I thought there was no way Willow would ever eat the Sweet Potato, Corn and Apple or Pea, Spinach and Apple pouches. I told her I had some special snacks for her to try and gave her one that I knew she'd like, so we started with Apple and Grape.
At first she was a little reluctant to try them, but soon she realized they were really good and I could barely get her to stand still long enough to get a picture. She kept dancing around and singing that "Willow's snacks were yummy yummy". She liked them so much that all 6 pouches were gone within 24 hours, even the Pea, Spinach and Apple that I was so worried about!

 I love that with Peter Rabbit Organics what you see on the front of the pouch is the only thing you'll get. No added flavors, crazy chemicals or added sugar that will keep my already hyper child bouncing off the walls. Plus everything is organic so there is no need to worry about the pesticides your kids may ingest while eating their fruits and veggies. The only negative I've found is the price, I don't see us being able to buy them at every grocery trip, but they'll defiantly be our go to treat and snack for traveling.Want some Peter Rabbit Organic pouches of your own?

Where to buy:
Peter Rabbit Organics snacks are available at Starbucks, grocery retailers across the country, and Amazon.com

How to win:
Peter Rabbit Organics has generously offered a variety box of 12 fruit and veggie pouches for one lucky reader! All you have to do is enter using the easy Rafflecopter form provided!

I received a sample box of Peter Rabbit Organics pouches for review purposes only. I received no other compensation for this review. All opinions expressed are my own and were not influenced in any way. Your experience with Peter Rabbit Organics and their products may be different then my own.
