Baby Tornados

So when I started this whole blogging thing I promised that I wouldn't be "that mom". You know the mom who has perfect a perfect house, a perfect life, perfect kids... the mom who gets up at 4am to jog, makes her kids 3 course meals completly from scratch 7 days a week, has a perfect house where everything is a DIY project that she did herself, who volunteers for 500 orginizations, goes to church 5 times a week all while making sure her 8 children make it dance, gymnastics, soccer and underwater basket weaving... You know that woman who only exists on the Internet. Yep, that's not me.

I'm a stay at home mom to a 3 year old who has "unofficially" been diagnosed as PDD-NOS(an Autism spectrum disorder) and Sensory Processing Disorder as well 13 month old twins. Now that the twins have started walking our house is crazy. There really shouldn't be any way that two little people so tiny and cute can do so much damage, but they can, and they will. Lately they've made it their mission to destroy as much as possible.

I know, you're thinking it can't be that bad right? How much damage can they do in the time it takes to switch over a load of laundry and start another one? That's maybe 8 minutes tops right?

That is just about every stuffed animal they own (normally in the pink basket under the window), all the dress up clothes, most of the laundry from the hamper, and half of the clothing that belongs in the fabric drawers that hold the girls' pajamas, play clothes, underwear etc. They also managed to pull the Christmas stuff for their room out from under the crib. Its amazing that in 5 minutes two little people can create a mess that will take me over an hour to clean. We're considering baby cages...
